Bionic Commando Buraq Helicopter Boss Fight Walkthrough
Get the drops: In order to take down the Buraq, you’ll need the Tarantula rocket launcher. It only holds 4 rounds, but Joe will continually send you new drops when you run out. Look out for the blue indicator on your radar for the location of the drops.
How to use the Tarantula: In order to hit the Buraq helicopter, you’ll need to “tag” it with the Tarantula before firing. Otherwise, you’re shots will miss every time. To tag the Buraq, hold down RT (Xbox 360), until you see yellow target markers appear on the Buraq. With the trigger still held, move the cross hairs over one of the target markers, and it will turn red. You can tag multiple targets at once this way, before firing.
Polycraft Friends: When the Polycraft come into the picture, leave the Buraq alone for a while, and concentrate on them. If you use one full Tarantula clip on a Polycraft (tag 4 targets on one Polycraft), it will go down in one shot. Do this for both Polycraft. When they’re down, go back and finish off the Buraq.
Strategy for the Buraq: I found it easiest to fire at the Buraq from ground level, right near the edge of the platform. It will have a tough time shooting you down there, and you can easily bob and weave behind pillars for cover. Shooting the Buraq from atop one of the front two pillars is not recommended, as you’ll be out in the open and kind of a sitting duck.
